No major or special event this week, just a straight-forward stableford. Tommy Toner again the man in form in division one, and Neil Simpson wins division two for the second week running. Don’t ask him the reason for his massive improvement, he doesn’t know! Again thanks to Liz Beaton for acting as starter.

No ladies division again this week, only 4 entries.
.
It’s getting to be a habit, another eagle on a par 4 – last week it was John Eadie on the 5th, this week Jeff Lightle finished his round in style with a 2 on the par 4 18th!
.
Very sad to see the water levels in the lakes on holes 11 and 13 which are an eyesore to penthouse owners and visitors overlooking them. Don’t know the reason for this but hopefully as the summer heat cools they will be restored to their former glory.

.The kids are back to school…………………
.
Mother: “Did you enjoy your first day at school?”
Girl: “First day? Do you mean I have to go back tomorrow?
.
Mom: What did you do at school today?
Mark: We did a guessing game.
Mom: But I thought you were having a math exam.
Mark: That’s right!
Johnny: Teacher, would you punish me for something I didn’t do?
Teacher: Of course not.
Johnny: Good, because I didn’t do my homework.
.
Luke comes home from his first day of school, and his mother asks, “What did you learn today?”
“Not enough,” Luke replies. “They said I have to go back tomorrow.”
